Questions, answered.
What organisers and passengers should know before a day tour or private coach charter.
Booking and quotes
How do I request a private coach quote?
Use the charter form and include your date, passenger count, pickup, destination, preferred times, planned stops, luggage and accessibility needs. Email and phone are required so we can clarify the itinerary and send the written quote.
Does a quote request reserve the coach?
No. A coach is reserved only after availability, itinerary, price and terms are confirmed in writing and any required deposit or payment is received.
What affects the charter price?
Time, kilometres, standby time, pickup count, tolls, parking, venue fees, peak dates, late finishes and extended-tour driver requirements can affect the quote. Included and variable items are stated in writing.
Do you charge per person or per coach?
Private charters are generally quoted for the agreed coach service and itinerary. Published day tours usually show a per-person fare. Your quote or tour page states the pricing basis.
What services can ComfortLine provide?
We quote corporate and conference transport, schools, sport, community and faith groups, weddings, airport and cruise transfers, events, sightseeing, inbound groups and extended touring.
Tours and departures
Where do tours depart from?
We focus on practical Western Sydney pickup hubs. Every open departure lists its confirmed point and time; locations on draft tour ideas are indicative.
Are all tour ideas confirmed departures?
No. The destination catalogue includes ideas for future public departures and private groups. Only a tour showing an open departure and enabled booking can be purchased.
Is there a minimum passenger number?
A published tour may need a stated minimum before it proceeds. Any threshold, decision date and options if the minimum is not reached will be provided before payment.
What is included in a tour fare?
The individual departure lists transport, stops and any included entry, snack, meal or guide. Lunch, shopping and optional attractions are at your cost unless expressly included.
Do tours operate in wet weather?
Suitable wet-weather operations may continue with safe itinerary changes. Severe weather, road closures or supplier cancellation can require a larger change; we will contact the booking organiser.
Coach, pickups and luggage
How many passengers can the coach carry?
ComfortLine limits public bookings and private charters to 55 passenger seats.
Can you arrange multiple pickup points?
Often, when safe legal coach access and the overall schedule allow it. Additional stops add travel time and may affect price.
Can you pick up at my house?
Only where a full-size coach can safely and legally enter, stop and leave. A nearby main-road, station, venue or car-park meeting point may be more practical.
How much luggage can we bring?
External storage is available, but capacity depends on passenger numbers and the size of bags, equipment and mobility aids. Tell us what the group will carry before confirmation.
Can we bring food, drinks or decorations?
Only when agreed in advance. Tell us about eskies, food, alcohol or decorations when requesting the quote so the on-board rules and any cleaning conditions are clear.
Can seats be reserved?
Specific seats are not generally promised. Tell us about a confirmed mobility, medical or supervision need before travel so an appropriate arrangement can be considered.
Accessibility, safety and travel day
Can you help with accessibility needs?
Describe mobility aids, boarding help, seating and assistance-animal needs before booking. Suitability is confirmed for the actual coach, pickup points and itinerary; a wheelchair lift should not be assumed.
Do passengers need to wear seatbelts?
Yes. Passengers must use fitted seatbelts and follow reasonable safety instructions from the driver.
How early should we arrive?
Arrive at least 15 minutes before the confirmed departure unless told otherwise. Call +61 414 573 490 immediately if delayed.
What happens if our event finishes late?
Call as soon as possible. Extra waiting may be chargeable and is subject to driver-hour and next-service limits. Planned standby and overtime terms should be agreed in the quote.
Can children travel?
Yes, where the service and supervision arrangements are suitable. Every child needs a booked seat. Tell us ages and any child-restraint requirements before confirmation.
Payments, changes and privacy
How are payments handled?
Online tour card payments use Stripe Checkout. Charter deposits and balances follow the written quote. ComfortLine does not ask you to send full card details by form or email.
How do I change or cancel?
Email info@comfortline.com.au as early as possible. The trip-specific cancellation schedule applies, alongside rights that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
What if ComfortLine changes or cancels a service?
We will explain significant changes and available options. If we cancel and cannot provide an acceptable alternative, payment for the cancelled service will be refunded, subject to applicable consumer rights.
How is my information used?
Contact and itinerary details are used to answer your enquiry, quote, operate the trip and manage payment records. Read the privacy policy for providers, retention, access and correction information.
