1. About ComfortLine
ComfortLine is a trading name of SYD Trans Pty Ltd (we, us or our). These terms apply when you use this website, book a published tour or accept a private coach charter quote.
2. Enquiries, quotes and acceptance
An enquiry, proposal, waitlist entry or draft itinerary is not a booking. A charter quote remains subject to vehicle and driver availability until we issue written confirmation and receive any required deposit or payment. Quotes are valid for the period stated and cover only the route, times, passenger number and inclusions shown.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable. Your confirmation states the payment schedule and whether tolls, parking, accommodation, attraction tickets, meals, waiting time or other third-party costs are included. Online card payments are processed by Stripe; never send card details through an enquiry form or email.
If payment is not received by the due date, we may release the seats or coach after contacting the booking organiser. The organiser is responsible for giving accurate passenger, itinerary and contact information.
4. Changes requested by you
Request changes as early as possible. Additional pickups, kilometres, waiting time, date changes, after-hours work or a larger passenger requirement may change the price and remain subject to availability, safe access and legal driver-hour limits. A change is accepted only when confirmed in writing.
5. Cancellation by you
Cancellation must be sent to info@comfortline.com.au. The cancellation schedule stated in your tour listing or charter confirmation applies. Costs already committed to third parties, card fees where lawfully non-refundable, and work already performed may affect the amount returned. If a replacement passenger is permitted, changes must be approved before travel.
6. Changes or cancellation by us
We may adjust a route, stop, pickup point or timing where reasonably required by safety, traffic, weather, road access, venue directions, supplier changes or operational requirements. If we make a significant change, we will explain the available options. If we cancel a service and cannot offer an acceptable alternative, amounts paid for the cancelled service will be refunded, subject to rights and remedies under Australian Consumer Law.
7. Minimum numbers and third-party suppliers
A public tour may require a stated minimum number of passengers. Attraction, cruise, venue, meal and accommodation services may be supplied by independent providers under their own reasonable conditions. We will identify material third-party inclusions before payment where practical.
8. Pickup, punctuality and no-shows
Passengers should arrive at the confirmed meeting point at least 15 minutes before departure unless advised otherwise. The coach may need to leave on time for the rest of the group, booked suppliers and driver-hour compliance. Contact +61 414 573 490 immediately if delayed. Missed departures and unused portions are not normally refundable where the service operated as booked.
9. Passengers, conduct and property
Children must be supervised by their responsible adult or organisation. Passengers must follow reasonable safety instructions, wear fitted seatbelts, respect other travellers and avoid conduct that is dangerous, unlawful, abusive or likely to damage the vehicle. Smoking, vaping, illegal substances, glass, alcohol, food, decorations and animals are allowed only where expressly agreed. We may refuse carriage or end a passenger’s journey where reasonably necessary for safety or serious misconduct.
Tell us about luggage, mobility aids, sports equipment, instruments, prams or other large items before confirmation. Space is not guaranteed unless agreed. Passengers remain responsible for personal property; found items can be collected or returned at the owner’s reasonable cost.
10. Accessibility, health and assistance
Tell us before booking about mobility, boarding, seating, medical or assistance-animal needs that affect the journey. We will assess the actual coach, stops and itinerary and explain what can be accommodated. Passengers should carry required medication and seek their own medical advice where appropriate.
11. Cleaning and damage
The booking organiser may be charged reasonable additional cleaning, repair or replacement costs caused by passengers beyond ordinary use, where permitted by law. Please report spills or damage promptly.
12. Delays and events beyond control
Travel times are estimates. Traffic, road closures, weather, emergencies, public events and supplier interruptions can cause delay. We will take reasonable steps to provide the service and communicate material changes, but cannot promise arrival times affected by circumstances beyond reasonable control.
13. Website content
We take reasonable care with website information. Destination images may be illustrative and draft tour concepts may change. Website content does not replace the final written confirmation.
14. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where a service has a major problem, consumers may have rights to cancel and receive a refund or compensation; other problems may entitle consumers to a remedy within a reasonable time.
15. Concerns and contact
Please contact us promptly so we can investigate and try to resolve a concern. Email info@comfortline.com.au or call +61 414 573 490. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
